I deeply appreciate the fact that you actually read the book and understood what was attempted there. This is the book written about the jesus.

___________

Nora

There are a lot of sites out there showing book video. BookVideoTV, BookTelevision and of course CSPAN, but I like how BN.com and Reader's Entertainment TV have specific genre channels and original shows. There's just more to see and I can be specific in what genre I'm interested in. Anyone else watch online tv?
Reader's EntertainmentAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23758043.post-69124865232333635932008-04-04T14:39:00.000-05:002008-04-04T14:39:00.000-05:00Anne,I will have to read other reviews of the book...Anne,

I will have to read other reviews of the book in regards to others' opinions of Avigail. I thought you really got it right in terms of Jesus' temptation. It was a beautiful and noble temptation, but a temptation none the less because it would take him away from his Father's call.

In the Author's Note in the first book, you feared that writing books about Jesus would do violence to your career. I hope that is NOT true. I, for one, am a fan.

May God continue to bless you and your work!

DerekDerek Vreelandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06278564226756132082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23758043.post-15015523787914961142008-04-04T13:35:00.000-05:002008-04-04T13:35:00.000-05:00Thanks for a sensitive review of the book. Especially since women are being shunned and stoned in Middle Eastern villages even now. I deeply appreciate the fact that you actually read the book and understood what was attempted there, a portrait of Our Sinless Lord in a probable First Century small town environment, the Lord, both Human and Divine, subject to pressure and temptation. Again, my thanks, Anne Rice.Anne Ricehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13467417425476381045noreply@blogger.com
